the first one

I don't know that I want to write a "my first blog post." But I suppose it's already happening, so here we go.
I am days away from finishing my bachelor's degree at Humboldt State in English. Honestly, it's a little surreal, and I don't mind if that's cliche here. It has taken me so very long to get to this place.  For so long I felt so unworthy of things. Never that I couldn't do it, I always knew I could. But feeling like I deserve success? That's a different ball game. 
Now I'm here though, so many years struggling to pay rent and eat. So many frustrated tears and anxiety attacks. A few hiccups, but I finished. I'm done! 
The future is already here.
